I have been looking for a long time for a punch or die of a party hat that is the right size to fit on the owl head for the Two Punch Owl by Stampin Up.
On Trade me one day I stumbled upon a border punch by EK Success that has not only a hat but also a balloon, so I took a bit of a punt and clicked on buy now. I am glad that I did because it is the perfect size hat and balloon to go with both the owl and the bird. Not only that but the hat stamps from the Party Hearty set (also Stampin Up) fit in it almost perfectly.
I used all these things to make a card for my cousins daughter who is turning 5 next month
The grass is a Fiskars punch that i just slipped in behind the cutout oval and the owl wings are punched out with the Two Step Bird Punch. The balloon was coloured with copics and then covered with Glossy Accents so that it is nice and shiny.
Over all I think it is very cute.
